Heidi is a 20 something newlywed residing in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Her now-husband proposed on the banks of the C&O Canal in Washington, DC in June 2008, where they were promptly told to “Get a room” by a homeless man on the other side of the canal.

She was married in September 2009 to her now husband (oft referred to as Hubs) in Washington, DC – a very Capitol Hill wedding at St. Peter’s Church followed by the reception at the Capitol Hill Club. After their honeymoon in Puerto Rico, they moved north and she is currently pursuing a career in education while her husband works on a political campaign. She writes about ettiquette, recaps and her duties as a Matron of Honor for her gal pal’s wedding.
