Allie. She’s 25 and runs a small business in Chicago with her fiancé, Jeff. Midway through planning a Chicago loft wedding for the summer of 2010, their plans were turned upside down when their venue went out of business. They’re now planning a destination wedding in the Rivera Maya at the Occidental Grand Xcaret for November 2010.

She’s learned a lot over the months, including budgeting weddings in both Chicago ($$$$) and a Mexico ($) and learning (the hard way) about the good, bad and ugly sides of the wedding industry.
