A few weeks ago, I succeeded in purchasing my gown. (Seriously, y’all, I still cannot believe it!)
And since the main piece of my wardrobe for the day has ended, I’ve begun to think about shoes, shoes, shoes for the wedding festivities.
Frivolously, I commenced a Google search and came up with the following list of dream shoes for my wedding. While I know they won’t be on my feet in October, beautiful shoes are always fun to share with friends. And a girl can dream, right?
On to the pumps!

Helloooooo, Badgley Mischka Women’s Randee T-strap. You’re beautiful, funky and oh-so-fun.
Dear Cole Haan Women’s Ceci Air Rose Sling Sandal, I kind of love you. It’s a shame that you don’t fit into the budget because you’re super cute and potentially perfect.
And then there’s you, Manolo Blahnik’s Something Blue Satin Pump… I won’t lie and say I didn’t notice you in the SATC movie because, well, I did. And because I’ve dreamed of wearing some killer blue heels to my wedding for a while now. While your price tag makes me gasp and realize you are clearly a pipe dream, you’re gorgeous.
I could seriously go on and on about potential wedding day shoes, so I’m going to stop for now. There are just SO MANY fun pairs out there to check out!
…
What kind of shoes are y’all going to wear on your wedding day? If you’re already married, what were your shoes like? And was your decision a good choice after a night of dancing?

I’m going for red… I have these awesome red satin peep toe sandals, and I’ll be using them for the wedding!
By the way almost a grand for shoes? I knew they were expensive, but I imagined them being a few hundred. Damn.
I’m wearing purple.
I have a sweet pair of Jessica Simpson purple shoes with a glitzy stone. There are a gorgeous pair of Manolo’s also in purple with some glitz, but I cant justify spending the extra $700 for them! J. Simps will do just fine.
I love the first ones! I think I’m going to wear flip-flops! :O Is that wrong?! I just can’t bear foot pain.
The first pair looks a lot like the shoes I just bought for my wedding (except they’re flat – I’m all about comfort)
